Fuzzy MGS - Revolver Ocelot by kliefox Fuzzy MGS - Revolver Ocelot by kliefox
I know its been done before, but I just wanted to try my hand at it.

Revolver Ocelot from Metal Gear Solid as an anthropomorphic Ocelot.

I'm very happy with this one

That's... actually pretty badass. Maybe you could try your hand at Psycho Mantis? That's be f@#%&ng creepy...

In regards to the bouncing bullets- isn't Revolver supposed to be able to kill you around corners by making the bullet ricochet? I heard he was some kind of genius when it comes to trajectory.

Thanks!

Actually I did want to try my hand at the other MGS bosses, including Mantis, but I just never got around to it.

To answer your question about Ocelot's genius with trajectory, what you heard is the truth.

In the first Metal Gear Solid, Ocelot could ricochet bullets off walls and hit Snake if you weren't moving fast enough and in the right direction to avoid it.

It also made it harder to successfully return fire and hit Ocelot, since Snake's bullets didn't bounce.

Ocelot also does some similar ricochet work in MGS3 using a Makarov semi-automatic pistol.

I dunno, I just think that furry MGS might be one of the best fan tributes ever.

Makarovs are cool. But me, I think revolvers are cooler. Just the idea that a guy could use one to successfully own people carrying automatic weapons- do you know how hard that would be? How much practice would be involved just to aim and reload such a comparatively clumsy weapon at that speed? They're certainly impractical by today's standards, but dammit, they're badass. Besides, they almost never jam, and they're easy to maintain.

Thanks for the compliment!

Yeah, I like the design of the Makarov, too, but like you said there is something about a guy that could own an entire contingent of soldiers with just three SAA's.

Well, I don't KNOW how hard it would be, but I can imagine it could be something like setting a video game to insanesuicidalextremenevergonnawin difficulty. XD

Yeah... pretty much. Though if everyone else were similarly armed, then things would be a little more fair.

Ah, to have lived in the Wild West.
