Fuzzy MGS - Revolver Ocelot by kliefox Fuzzy MGS - Revolver Ocelot by kliefox
I know its been done before, but I just wanted to try my hand at it.

Revolver Ocelot from Metal Gear Solid as an anthropomorphic Ocelot.

I'm very happy with this one

That's... actually pretty badass. Maybe you could try your hand at Psycho Mantis? That's be f@#%&ng creepy...

In regards to the bouncing bullets- isn't Revolver supposed to be able to kill you around corners by making the bullet ricochet? I heard he was some kind of genius when it comes to trajectory.

Thanks!

Actually I did want to try my hand at the other MGS bosses, including Mantis, but I just never got around to it.

To answer your question about Ocelot's genius with trajectory, what you heard is the truth.

In the first Metal Gear Solid, Ocelot could ricochet bullets off walls and hit Snake if you weren't moving fast enough and in the right direction to avoid it.

It also made it harder to successfully return fire and hit Ocelot, since Snake's bullets didn't bounce.

Ocelot also does some similar ricochet work in MGS3 using a Makarov semi-automatic pistol.

I dunno, I just think that furry MGS might be one of the best fan tributes ever.

Makarovs are cool. But me, I think revolvers are cooler. Just the idea that a guy could use one to successfully own people carrying automatic weapons- do you know how hard that would be? How much practice would be involved just to aim and reload such a comparatively clumsy weapon at that speed? They're certainly impractical by today's standards, but dammit, they're badass. Besides, they almost never jam, and they're easy to maintain.

Thanks for the compliment!

Yeah, I like the design of the Makarov, too, but like you said there is something about a guy that could own an entire contingent of soldiers with just three SAA's.

Well, I don't KNOW how hard it would be, but I can imagine it could be something like setting a video game to insanesuicidalextremenevergonnawin difficulty. XD

Yeah... pretty much. Though if everyone else were similarly armed, then things would be a little more fair.

Ah, to have lived in the Wild West.

I always use SAA to kill Null and Python on Portable Ops!

I'll have to give that a shot (lol pun intended) on my next play thru. I managed to tranquilize Python and recruit him, and per someone's suggestion I used the M870 shotgun on Null. You have to wait for him to reload, but it does a boatload of damage.

When I will battle Null.... I run away and find a place where there are lotsa walls and crates then shoot the walls where he is near.... and on Python.... I don't know how I beat him at 1st because I was just shooting anywhere and his life gets lower.... I discovered that SAA has bouncing bullets when I was beating Null. c:

Oh sweet! I just picked up Portable Ops a little while back and have been playing thru it. I used a gamefaqs code to obtain Ocelot, but right now, he's just looking grim in my independent unit. XD

NICE. I like the espression. You got the hair right too...When I did my own rendition of him I forgot it, granted, it wasn't really supposed to BE ocelot, just be based on him for a friend of mine soo...

The coat is AWESOME! The boots are definately Ocelot's allright...

THe gun is downright beautiful as well...

Oh, yeah: the tiny Snake is funny too. :D (That's gotta make his job harder though, being orange...maybe he's an artic fox or something..;p)

Thanks I'm really glad you liked it.

Actually, I was planning on making some MGS3 parodies based on Snake being a redfox. Kinda hard to blend in with your surroundings unless your opponents are colorblind. XD

(Hey! I wanted to do that! :pout:) Of course, if they're dogs...

Also, if they WERE colorblind, camo is useless anyway and they'd spot you immediatly! If you're colorblind, you can pick out things that don't belong easier.
